Gateway Voyage, the first of the Monroe Institute’s residential programmes is an amazing experience.

As the name suggests, it can be a gateway to the voyage of Self Exploration.

This 6 day meditation retreat has now been brought to Australia by Bridging Concepts.

Our first Gateway Voyage programme, was run during March at a retreat named Sangsurya, situated in the bushland on the east coast of Australia, at Byron Bay, New South Wales.

The participants experienced a wondrous 6 days, listening to meditation exercises compiled by the Monroe Institute, combined with Hemi-Sync®, the sound technology developed by Robert Monroe over 40 years ago. Additionally, for the full 6 days they were supported by certified Monroe Institute facilitators.

For many, it was a life changing experience. An experience that kept working long after they returned home.

As I watched the participants get to know their true self and expand their consciousness over the 6 days, it reminded me of my own Gateway Voyage over 10 years ago. An experience which changed me and guided me on the path to bring the Monroe Institutes programmes to Australia.

Ten years in the making, but an experience that was worth the long wait. Although I could hardly say that I sat back and waited.

The last 10 years of my life have been about change, getting to know the self and expanding my consciousness to a point where I felt ready to bring my dream into fruition.

The Gateway Voyage programme in March was just the beginning, A beginning to bring the Hemi-Sync sound technology and the meditation programmes from the Monroe Institute to Australia.

The most common question that we get about Remote Viewing is, can I be a Remote Viewer? The resounding answer is, YES! everyone has the ability to tap into this amazing process, but as with everything, the first step is taking that first step. With that in mind, we wanted to let you know about the Remote Viewing Practicum that’s happening April 23-29, 2011 at TMI.

I knew this course through the Wave from Robert Monroe Institute but I was very surprised and very happy to learn that this course was coming to Australia and I appreciate what Gwen and irene did to bring this thing along.

“I attended the first Australian Gateway with a total of 24 participants.

I had a number of experiences.  I didn’t have what you call a classic full blown out of body experience however I did have a number of experiences through the programme and one in particular that I was very happy with was where – I think I was doing one CD they call the Vibe – and during this CD after I went through what I believe was Focus 15 – I started vibrating and it actually felt like my energy body was coming in and out of my physical body and it was a really really nice feeling.  And I started to click out and just before I clicked out or fell off to sleep I heard some voices – I heard some laughing and it was “he’s not ready yet” and then I clicked out until I heard Bob’s voice to bring me back – to count back to C1.  That was one of the experiences I had and that was fantastic.

So it definitely works and its real.

I would recommend anybody to do the Gateway programme especially if they are wanting to find out answers about the meaning of life, about improving their personal life, their physical life and to find out all sorts of answers to the mysteries of the universe, I suppose. ”

 As I consider the situation in Japan, I cannot help but remember something I read years ago. This is a synopsis as best I can recall:

The driver of a mangled vehicle suddenly found herself floating above the wreckage scene.
From that vantage point she could see the rescue workers tending the victims of the multi-
car collision. She even saw her own body trapped in her crumpled auto. But that wasn’t what
caught her attention.

What really entranced her were streaks of light that were emerging from the cars inching
past the carnage. Curious, she drifted over to see the source of these light beams and
suddenly realized that these were the prayers offered by the passersby. What’s more she
could see angels responding to the cries for help on behalf of the victims.

Ever since I read that I cannot pass a wreck without offering up silent prayers, for I know it is not a futile exercise.

Our friends in Japan are going through a time of great trial. The scope of the damage is unthinkable and in the face of it we can feel terribly helpless. But now is the time to remember that we and they are truly “more than our physical bodies.” As a result we have resources at our disposal that, even though the rest of the world may not appreciate them, are powerful tools of compassion.

So what can you do?
First, we invite you to send your love. Use whatever words you want: praying, sending healing energy, calling in angels of mercy both physical and nonphysical, imagining thoughts of healing and comfort, calling in each person’s higher self. The labels are insignificant, it is the intention that counts.

Secondly please join in the effort to guide those who have passed away into the next stage of life. A group effort is scheduled for this Saturday, March 19. This request comes directly from Shirosuke, who is one of our graduates living in Tokyo. These are his instructions:

Meet at the crystal of The Monroe Institute on F12.
Make a circle, surrounding and charging yourself with energy.
Move to F21 and gather at the Bridge Café.
Move to F27 together and start retrievals.

Don’t worry about the time because this work transcends normal conceptions of time. If you can’t be
present, send you intentions of support.

Thirdly, donate to Doctors without Borders and the American Red Cross. These are folks who are in the
immediate area offering direct help. Send them energy and help as well.

And finally, choose consciously to view this from a helpful perspective. As Shirosuke requests, “Please do not feel sorry for us too much, because the sorrow or sadness become a large negative emotional wave. What we should do is to love them and the field.”
